  1. Who will Del Rio face at Wrestlemania?

Oh come on. Cena and Orton are getting the loudest cheers because the kids love them. By your reasoning that the most over guys should be headlining Wrestlemania, then I guess Rey Mysterio for the WHC?
  2. Nexus/Corre/Cena/Orton Mess

I think the WWE knows what they are doing. Every year, we have the same argument about all the covulated storylines, and then when wrestlemania comes around everybody thinks it's awesome. What is happening now is that they are trying to steer the feuds towards how it's going to be at...
  3. Tyler Reks is Mike Knox version 2.

Oh come on, you guys are being ignorant. The Corre and Nexus are being built for a feud at Wrestlemania. And Tyler Reks never talks because if you guys watch ECW, he has bad mic skills, but he's a decent wrestler and has the 'look'.
  4. Hogan in upcoming WWE game.

More of less spot on with that. That being said, I would expect that Vince pays Hogan more money than he can to just appear on WWE events. Sort of like what Dana White offered Chuck Liddell. Be the face of the company without fighting. Vince to me is too ruthless when it comes to his guys. A...
  5. UFC 127 discussion thread

A free card is a priviledge, not a right. And a free card would not have BJ Penn on it. Love him or hate him, he's one of the more marketable guys in the UFC.
  6. UFC 127 discussion thread

Is it just me or are the guys on this card not particularly likeable? UFC 126 has Jones, Bader, Forrest, Franklin and Torres. This card has Mr Boring (Fitch), Spoilt prodigy (Penn), irritating brit (Bisping), arrogant Aussie(GST) and the german (Siver). Just doesn't really attract me all that much.
  7. Jeff Jarrett-MMA

To respond to LHR and Enzo, what you guys don't get is a guy who probably rolls around on a mat once in a while, and thinks he's good enough to pretend to be an MMA fighter. But the way he acts, the submissions he pull off, that doesn't resemble an MMA fighter and any MMA fan can see that. The...
  8. Jeff Jarrett-MMA

What part of my statement did I say it was the most disrespectful thing to happen to all of wrestling? What I cannot stand is how they apparently think that through this angle, they would get more of that crossover MMA/ex-WWF fans to watch their product. As an MMA fan, I cannot stand how he...
  9. Jeff Jarrett-MMA

It's freaking dissrespectful to all the real MMA fighters who train their asses off day after day and have a guy like double J come in and pretend he's legit. I really wonder what TNA is thinking. Do they honestly think their target demographic where a huge portion of also love MMA see this and...
  10. Cain Velasquez Out 6-8 Months With Shoulder Injury

you fucking high? You think anybody would put themself in that kind of pain volutarily? Injuries happen dumbass. And that tattoo has had controversy, but he's proud of being Mexican and is not afraid of being called brown. If you tried doing any research, his family is a traditional hispanic...
  11. Taker! Brock! WWE! UFC! Speculation!!

That's what they say but how can the UFC and WWE not be rivals? There is only so much money a person have to fork out for a PPV so some of the income is linked.
  12. Taker! Brock! WWE! UFC! Speculation!!

As if Vince would let Taker fight in an MMA match. All promoters just want to protect their assets.
  13. Bellator 145lb champ Joe Warren returning to Greco-Roman roots, eyes Olympic Gold

It's freaking hard to excel at the highest level at both. Even GSP who have one of the best wrestling in MMA is considered a fringe guy in Canada's Olympics Team. It's tough to give up your first love but I think Warren should focus on MMA, where there are more money for its professionals. Aim...
  14. Toughest Chin in MMA

I always got a perception that guys with big heads like Rampage and BJ Penn are hard to put to sleep. I think there's some truth to it.
  15. Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto in contract discussion with UFC

Aoki was talked about as the #2 lightweight after BJ Penn then. That fight pretty much ruined it and all that talk went away. When you want to make a claim as overall #1, u really have to at least be well rounded. Yamamoto wasn't even looking invincible like Aoki in Japan. He's sort of like Gomi...
  16. Greatest Finish ever?

Scott Smith against Drago Sell when both guys got knocked out was pretty special too.
  17. Samoa Joe's TNA status

Let's be fair to him. he needs the money and TNA guarantees a steady paycheck. Usually when guys in TNA go to WWE, they have to at least get some hints that the WWE will be interested.
  18. How to make Strikeforce competitive

To me, Strikeforce is very close to catchgin up to the UFC. They have the big name stars to really make a splash, but they need more depth and some changes to its concept. I hope those who at least give a shit about SF can join me in a discussion. Idea #1 to improve: Let novelty fighters fight...
  19. Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto in contract discussion with UFC

I'm sorry but I think Japanese fighters are generally overhyped and not trained in the Octagon. Other than Okami, look at the rest Caol Uno, Yoshiro Akiyama and Takanori Gomi at UFC and Shinya Aoki at Strikeforce have proven my point. They all came in with huge hype but have not lived up to it.
  20. Frank Mir vs Brendan Schaub targeted for early 2011

Makes sense to me. Hoping my boy Schaub wins.
