I definitely have no clue if The Beserker’s thing was tossing guys over the ropes and winning via countout, but I definitely enjoy that becoming a thing. It’s something different! I want to picture his constant HUSS shouting like he’s Brody King, but I feel like it’ll instead very quickly become comedy midcard esque shtick.

The Beverley Brothers were inserted perfectly into this match in a way that it didn’t ruin the match, but heavily influenced its ending nevertheless. Really well done with that, as well as the back and forth of the near miss by Marty and full hit by HBK on Marty. I do have to laugh at HBK kicking Marty but being the one most angry because that’s perfectly HBK right there!

I know it’s cheesy WWF era and he’s a face, but there is no way I’m buying Piper glazing Hulk Hogan like that :p no way, pal! I’m curious about Flair getting the instant heel reaction before saying anything, purely because I question how many people actually would know who Ric Flair is because of how crazy the divide between WWF/WCW was back then in terms of so many people only watching one and not the other. Not a criticism, just my own ponderings! It’s overall a bit of a tepid start for Naitch, but having Piper fed to him as his first feud is definitely a very smart choice given Piper still being the name that he is.

I personally loved the way you booked the giant fest. It’s soooo cheesy with the ridiculous duffel bag being ridiculously large. I think Sid becoming the MDE’s monster was pretty obvious, but I truly loved that Sid plays the straight man throughout the match and it’s only afterwards that you get the heel move from him. Good sell on Warrior contemplating using the briefcase though! I still think a heel Warrior should happen at some point because the character and man behind it are so completely fucking crazy there’s gold to be had there. Just excellent stuff overall, with the only error to highlight Warrior teleporting from outside of the ring while Sid attacks Taker to then being in the ring for him and Taker to do the simultaneous jump/sit up.

Rick Martel is my favorite kind of heel. You get the character and tropes perfectly, BT. Match very perfectly captured Bulldog being a dominant bad ass, Martel being inferior and needing to take every shortcut possible, and still getting lucky breaks to boot to win. Ending a bit similar to the Tag Titles but still made sure to tweak it by getting the bottle used as well. I’m assuming the Arrogance doesn’t shatter on impact? I would’ve expected that, but for this ending especially it very much needed to not break!!

JFC I cannot take anything seriously after seeing that Steamboat still. Oh man I forgot the massacre Vince wanted to do to this man. Nice quick win to protect Warlord in some fashion, while giving Steamboat a badly needed win.

I definitely did not see the title change happening tonight! Hell, I didn’t even think Flair would go after Hogan tonight after getting things set off with Piper; figured it’d be a slow burn towards the Mania program we never got between the two. Definitely curious to see what happens next now with this title change! Wild to have this not be the true main event given how shocking it is, but I love the idea of this match placement. Not only does it mean you send fans home happy with Savage, but it also is a great way to throw off the scent of the title change – “oh surely Hogan wins since it’s not the main event!” While I know the era, I still don’t like Flair shaking hands with Perfect and essentially offering a soft alliance. Flair shouldn’t be coming in and saying he’s the Real World Champion, and then do that to the new WWF Champion. I fully get Flair more than anything wants to show he’s better than Hogan, but there’s some inconsistencies in the character decisions for me.

Lol I forgot this match was even on the card. Von Erich out there to kill time for the crowd to get ready to cheer again :p

I also forgot the Natural Disasters still had a match to squash too! So wild that all this happens after the Title match. I fully appreciate the tongue in cheek SHOCKWAVES line about Typhoon/Tugboat/Glitter Storm Trooper :p Push them to the moon baybay!!!

Eat your heart out, Goldberg. The shot of Jim Duggan getting driven to the show by the police/US Marshals and getting out of the squad car handcuffed would’ve went HARD in any era. Fantastic little touch, BT. That alone was magnificent. The main event was such a breeze to read because it was just so fun. In pretty much ANY OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE, I would say that this match was too modern in its actions during the match, but you wrote this feud so beautifully that literally every single move made sense to me as I was reading it. This is the one match, one feud, where the blood is needed, where the DDT on the guardrail and reciprocal DDT on the exposed concrete is poetic, and where the big insane spot of the Macho Elbow to the stretchered Jake is so bad ass (hilarious too a big spot onto a wrestler being stretchered out after DoN!!). Love him finishing Roberts off with a Macho Elbow from every turnbuckle to really dig in one last time just how much of a blood feud this was.

You're very good at this stuff my friend. Very fun read!

I'm pretty happy with the predictions results. As long as I'm ahead of Szumi, I'm content.

Sorry I didn't leave any feedback on Summerslam, but I read and enjoyed immensely. Did want to call out a few things from your latest post though. Love that Roberts is being forced to work all those humiliating jobs throughout his suspension. That's awesome, but it also makes me wonder how venomous his reaction will be when his suspension is up. I'll admit it, I marked out at The Beverly Brothers becoming tag champs. Can't remember if this is something you did in the original version of this BTB, but more than happy to see it here. Beverly Bros are awesome. Cactus and Doink are two characters who you can do PLENTY with, so immediately excited to see how they integrate into storylines as well.

Continuing to go from strength to strength here, BT.

As the leaves change colors, the snake sheds its skin, and darkness dominates the skies, we embark on THE ROAD TO SURVIVOR SERIES!! Right now, we have A PERFECT CHAMPION, a real World’s Champion, Hulkamania running wild, Macho Madness, a family affair, tensions rising, money talking, deadmen walking, and yes, we still have a model!

We embark on a new chapter in the WWF, as Summerslam served as the end of the beginning of 1991, while Survivor Series serves as a gateway to the GRANDDADDY OF THEM ALL…WRESTLEMANIA 8!

So, what’s been going on inside the WWF as we head into “The Thanksgiving Tradition” for 1991? Read below to find out!

m24Vz2G.png

PERFECTION

WWF World Heavyweight Champion MR. PERFECT
has dominated the WWF since pulling off one of the greatest upsets ever by defeating Hulk Hogan at Summerslam! Although the win was tainted by interference from “THE REAL WORLD’S CHAMPION” RIC FLAIR, there is no arguing that Mr. Perfect belongs as the top dog in the WWF for the time being, as he has checked all the boxes of a fighting World Champion!

Throughout the fall months, it has been evident that Perfect, Flair, and the world’s toughest bodyguard HAKU have been running together, attempting to end Hulkamania, Macho Madness, and Roddy Piper at all costs!

Their opponents at Survivor Series? None other than the three-headed monster of HULK HOGAN, “MACHO MAN” RANDY SAVAGE AND RODDY PIPER! The larger-than-life trio have formed a pact to do whatever is necessary to take down Perfect, Flair and Haku!

In the middle of October, IT WAS OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED that at Survivor Series- Mr. Perfect, Ric Flair and Haku would take on Hulk Hogan, Macho Man and Roddy Piper!

This blockbuster main event match was set in stone, which meant it was time to see who would gain the upper hand heading into Survivor Series…

We didn’t have to wait long, as things got ugly at the end of October, during the airing of THE MAIN EVENT!

In the beginning of the night, Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper teamed up in a primer match against THE NASTY BOYS! Hogan and Piper made quick work of The Nastys, posed for the crowd, and all was right in the world…until it wasn’t!!

By the time Hogan and Piper got through the curtain, HAKU and the returning BARBARIAN JUMPED Hogan and Piper, leaving them both down and out! The crowd was irate at the sneak attack! McMahon and Monsoon were beside themselves on commentary! Haku and The Barbarian JUST TOOK OUT HULK HOGAN AND RODDY PIPER!!!

This spelled disaster for Macho Man, who was set to square off against Haku in the main event of the show! Without his two Survivor Series partners to police things at ringside, Macho Man knew he was a sitting duck…

WaKVqXy.png

The Main Event
October 31, 1991

Main Event
Macho Man vs. Haku

Haku is wobbling as Savage has him right where he wants him! Savage delivers another hard right hand…AND HAKU FALLS TO THE GROUND!!

Savage quickly climbs to the top turnbuckle, waiting for Haku to stumble to his feet…

DOUBLE AXE HANDLE!!!

Haku goes crashing down to the mat as the capacity crowd is on their feet- THEY LOVE THE MACHO MAN!!!

Savage climbs to the top turnbuckle, holds his hands out…

FLYING ELBOW DROP!!!

1…2….3!!!

Winner- “Macho Man” Randy Savage

The rabid WWF crowd pops loud as Savage holds his hands up high in victory…

HOWEVER…

THE VICTORY IS SHORT-LIVED!!!

MR. PERFECT AND RIC FLAIR BEGIN TO WALTZ DOWN THE AISLE WAY…

Perfect and Flair hop up onto the apron as Savage points at both of them, ready for whatever is about to happen!

“This man survived getting bit by a king cobra! Nothing scares him anymore!” Vince McMahon shouts from commentary…

Savage calculates the situation as he knows he is out-numbered- ESPECIALLY BECAUSE HULK HOGAN AND RODDY PIPER WERE TAKEN OUT EARLIER TONIGHT BY PERFECT AND FLAIR!!!

With the crowd behind him, Savage begins to go at it with a valiant effort, decking Perfect and Flair with rights…BUT IT ISN’T ENOUGH!!!

Eventually, the trio wears Savage down, while Heenan does his best to distract the host of WWF Officials from entering the ring. He gets help from THE BARBARIAN, who has found his way down to ringside, as he begins laying out each WWF Official with A HEADBUTT!!

After laying waste to security, The Barbarian then heads inside the ring, holding up the lifeless Macho Man!

With Mr. Perfect holding his WWF World title on one side, and Ric Flair holding the big gold belt on the other side…

MR. PERFECT AND RIC FLAIR WIND UP…

AND BLAST MACHO MAN IN THE HEAD SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH THEIR TITLE BELTS!!!!

Savage is unconscious, blood trickling down from his forehead!

The crowd boos unmercifully as the last scene we see from “THE MAIN EVENT” is Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair standing tall, showcasing their respective World titles, as McMahon and Monsoon say this may be the most powerful union in the history of the WWF!!

HVcGgIz.png

Following The Main Event, the trio of Hogan, Savage and Piper vowed to exact revenge at Survivor Series, as this was now personal! Three of the biggest titans in the industry team up as they look to take down the evil trio of Mr. Perfect, Ric Flair and Haku! This will be contested under Six Man Tag rules, which means there only needs to be one pinfall to win it for your team- no eliminations!!

With Wrestlemania 8 on the horizon, and Mr. Perfect holding all of the cards right now, one thing is crystal clear- ONE of these men will eventually carve their path to a World Title Main Event…and on that list includes Mr. Perfect’s “new best friend”… “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair…

m24Vz2G.png

FAMILIAR FACES

Ever since “THE MODEL” RICK MARTEL blasted BRET HART in the head with his bottle of “ARROGANCE” he has had a target on his back that he’s been able to out-run. Over the summer, Martel found himself fortunate on many occasions, from picking up the Intercontinental title over a hurt Bret Hart, to a miscommunication error between Bret and THE BRITISH BULLDOG at Summerslam which led Martel to retain the title.

Rick Martel skated by all summer, showcasing the IC title all around the world as he truly made the title “Intercontinental!” However, in early October, BRET HART ANNOUNCED THAT HE WAS FULLY CLEARED TO RETURN TO THE RING!! While British Bulldog continued chasing after Martel and the IC title throughout the fall, it was made official that both men would choose their teams for Survivor Series!

British Bulldog didn’t look far for his team. His first call was to Bret Hart, who was anxiously awaiting getting his hands on Martel. The next call was to OWEN HART AND JIM NEIDHART- THE NEW FOUNDATION- to link up! While getting interviewed by Mean Gene on an episode of Superstars in October, Bulldog put it plain and simple- “When you have a family like the one I got, why would I look anywhere else?”

While Bulldog had his team set, Rick Martel had his mind on other pressing issues…

HVcGgIz.png

SAVING FACE

The first pressing issue for Rick Martel was how his face looked following Summerslam! At some point during the match, Rick Martel suffered a black eye. For normal wrestlers, this black eye would be a badge of honor…but not for a “Model”…

The black eye forced Martel to cancel a very important upcoming photoshoot in the Swiss Alps for Calvin Klein. Martel was so upset, you would have thought he lost the IC title! Martel aired his frustrations in a taped promo on Superstars, and vowed to not only rid Bret Hart and British Bulldog from challenging for the IC title, but to make sure something like this never happened again…

So, what did Rick Martel do? He did what any heel during this time period would do- he went to another, equally evil man in TED DIBIASE, and hit him up for a loan! Dibiase was more than accommodating for his fellow heel brother, giving him a large sum of money up front, with a very advantageous payment plan. Martel now had money, but still nobody knew what he was going to do with it…

Rick Martel used the money first to take out an INSURANCE POLICY ON HIS FACE! He wanted to be fully covered, as he has told us all a million times before, “MY FACE IS MY MONEY MAKER!” After taking out the insurance policy on his face, he now needed partners for Survivor Series…

He first sought after THE BEVERLY BROTHERS, fresh off their WWF Tag Team Title victory over LOD! The Beverlys had already embarked on a feud with The New Foundation, after Owen and Neidhart went on a string of victories which led them to being the top contenders for the titles!

The Beverlys and Martel are a natural fit, as the three collectively hold 2/3 of the titles in the WWF! After getting The Beverly Brothers on board, without spending a dime of his loan, he then looked to shore up his team, and his face…

In the beginning of November, while SLICK was cutting a promo talking about how THE WARLORD was ready to take over the WWF, Rick Martel sauntered onto the set with a briefcase in hand. He told Slick that he was about to make him an offer he couldn’t refuse, and was willing to give The Slickster the entire briefcase FOR THE WARLORD’S SERVICES!!!

Slick didn’t think twice about the deal, took the briefcase, shook Martel’s hand, patted Warlord on the back and took off! THE WARLORD NOW WORKED FOR RICK MARTEL!!! With The Warlord secured, Rick Martel had his team officially set for Survivor Series!

There is no denying that Bret Hart has a very good argument about still laying claim to the Intercontinental Championship. After all, he was sucker punched, and then tried to compete not even close to full health, only for Martel to cheat once again during the match! The same can be said for The British Bulldog, who virtually had his Summerslam title match in the bag before Martel resorted to dirty tricks once again!!

Survivor Series will show how sharp Bret Hart will be, while Rick Martel will look to use his other three teammates as shields as he continues his run as IC Champion!!

m24Vz2G.png

GRAVE DANGER

The ever-budding rivalry between TED DIBIASE and THE MILLION DOLLAR EMPIRE against THE UNDERTAKER AND THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR continues to build on as we reach Survivor Series!

For months, Dibiase has tried to recruit both Taker and Warrior to join The Empire. However, at Summerslam, Dibiase hatched another devious plan by silently recruiting SID JUSTICE this entire time! Now, The Empire has its sought-after leader in Sid Justice, while Undertaker and Ultimate Warrior look to exact revenge!

The unlikely duo of Undertaker and Ultimate Warrior was born out of pure hatred for Ted Dibiase and The Empire. The two men were foes all summer long, but wound up becoming friends with a common goal- destroying Ted Dibiase, Sid Justice, and the rest of The Million Dollar Empire!

While it was announced that Undertaker and Ultimate Warrior would Co-Captain a Survivor Series team to take on The Million Dollar Empire, Ted Dibiase went around the WWF, warning ANYONE that even thought about joining up with Taker and Warrior, there would be hell to pay!

However, two brave men, both tired of Dibiase’s antics, decided to step up and join the team- TEXAS TORNADO AND RICKY “THE DRAGON” STEAMBOAT linked up with Undertaker and Warrior and vowed to help rid the WWF of The Empire once and for all!

The formidable team of Undertaker, Ultimate Warrior, Texas Tornado and Ricky Steamboat was officially announced, while Dibiase chose his team to consist of SID JUSTICE, BAM BAM BIGELOW, IRS AND CRUSH! With Dibiase opting to sit on the sidelines for this match, we have to guess that he will be getting involved throughout the match as he attempts to make his Empire look strong heading into Wrestlemania season!!

Will The Undertaker and Ultimate Warrior prevail at Survivor Series in their war against The Empire? Or will Sid Justice’s PPV debut be too much for them to handle? You WON’T WANT TO MISS THIS ONE AT SURVIVOR SERIES!!!

m24Vz2G.png

Other Matches:

THE ROCKERS link up with BIG BOSS MAN, “HACKSAW” JIM DUGGAN AND EL MATADOR
to take on Jimmy Hart’s squad of THE MOUNTIE, THE NATURAL DISASTERS AND THE NASTY BOYS! Shawn and Marty are back on the same page, while Jimmy Hart has been trying to drive a wedge in between them, much like The Beverly Brothers did all summer. Will The Rockers continue their streak of success and show the world that the miscommunication is finally behind them?

Also on the card…CACTUS JACK makes his debut, going up against KOKO B. WARE! Cactus Jack is a deranged individual who has scared a lot of the WWF audience in his short stay thus far. Will Cactus strike fear into “The Birdman” and pick up a win at Survivor Series?

I must admit, this portion of the year is not fun to get through, as you can tell by the lack of depth in the writeup. I will pick things up as we head into 1992.

Also a reminder that if you want to check out past shows, just go to the first post, everything is archived, along with current champions. Show will be up sometime in the middle of the month!

My picks: The Main Event Maniacs, Bulldog's Battalion (with the survivors being Bulldog and Bret Hart), Six Feet Deep (with the survivors being The Undertaker and Ultimate Warrior), and The Hart Breakers (with the survivors being The Natural Disasters), and Cactus Jack (of course)...

Six Man Tag Match

NATURE’S PERFECT BEASTS: WWF World Champion Mr. Perfect, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair & Haku w/Bobby Heenan
vs.
THE MAIN EVENT MANIACS: Macho Man, Hulk Hogan & Roddy Piper

Mr. Perfect getting the title win was quite the upset but I think Hogan gets his win back in a match where the title isn't on the line, so think it makes most sense. Plus I could see some tension between the two "World Champions" in Flair and Perfect that could rear it's head here.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
BULLDOG’S BATTALION: The British Bulldog, Bret Hart & The New Foundation
vs.
GLAMOR & GLORY: IC Champion “The Model” Rick Martel, The Warlord & WWF Tag Team Champions The Beverly Brothers

Wow, Glamor and Glory is just an amazing name for this team and whoever came up with it is a genius (not THE Genius, mind you). That being said, again I think this is a match where we see some comeuppance without having to worry about title changes so going with the Hart boys.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
MONEY TALKS: Sid Justice, Bam Bam Bigelow, IRS & Crush
vs.
SIX FEET DEEP: The Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior, Texas Tornado & Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat

Needed to pick one of the heel teams to win in the three main matches. But man it's hard to bet against a Taker/Warrior team but feels like Sid needs the win more here to solidify his union with DiBiase.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
SPANGLISH JAILHOUSE ROCK: “El Matador” Tito Santana, The Rockers, Big Boss Man & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
vs.
THE HART BREAKERS: The Mountie, The Natural Disasters & The Nasty Boys w/Jimmy Hart

God some of the people in this match are just awful..... this one is a toss up but will go with the team with The Rockers on it.

Debut Match
Cactus Jack vs. Koko B. Ware
Easy call here right? No way Jack loses in his debut.

Another big thank you for all the help. The procrastination is nearly done, I swear :D

It's understandable that this part of the calendar would be a bit of a slog booking wise with Rumble right around the corner. But I think you made logical team choices here to advance the stories before we get to the road to WrestleMania where things are a lot more exciting. On the 'Slam front, I adored Macho/Jake and was absolutely taken by surprise in Perfect going over Hulk for the World belt! I was so damn sure Hennig was just an obstacle for Hogan to conquer on the road to Mania. Shame on me for not properly appreciating your unpredictable booking style. Putting the Tag belts on The Beverlys of all people is also completely out of left field, which I love, so yeah I'm all in on this.

Six Man Tag Match
NATURE’S PERFECT BEASTS: WWF World Champion Mr. Perfect, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair & Haku w/Bobby Heenan
vs.
THE MAIN EVENT MANIACS: Macho Man, Hulk Hogan & Roddy Piper
The stickler in me is pissed you didn't add Barb and a babyface so we'd have a proper 4-on-4 Series match! I kid I kid. Feels like the babyfaces (Hulk in particular) could use a win to send the crowd home happy and regain some heat following SummerSlam. But I'm gonna second guess myself and pick the heels so Flair starts off his WWF run with a bang.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
BULLDOG’S BATTALION: The British Bulldog, Bret Hart & The New Foundation
vs.
GLAMOR & GLORY: IC Champion “The Model” Rick Martel, The Warlord & WWF Tag Team Champions The Beverly Brothers
Martel buying Warlord's contract from Slickster is just a perfect example of what I said before about your attention to detail. In this one, I'll go with the Dungeon crew to get their revenge on Martel & co.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
MONEY TALKS: Sid Justice, Bam Bam Bigelow, IRS & Crush
vs.
SIX FEET DEEP: The Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior, Texas Tornado & Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat
Unlike the RL Million Dollar Corporation, I suspect you'll actually have DiBiase's group win wrestling matches. Going with the Empire and hoping this is setting the stage for either Sid/Taker or Sid/Warrior for Mania because both of those sound fascinating to me.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
SPANGLISH JAILHOUSE ROCK: “El Matador” Tito Santana, The Rockers, Big Boss Man & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
vs.
THE HART BREAKERS: The Mountie, The Natural Disasters & The Nasty Boys w/Jimmy Hart
I guess a loss could further build Marty and Shawn's breakup, but I love Tito and Boss Man so the babyfaces get my vote.

Debut Match
Cactus Jack vs. Koko B. Ware
Plugging Cactus into Golden Era WWF is such a fun and creative idea. Like Koko but he's gotta be sacrificed to get the new madman over.

Oh boy, here comes Survivor Series:

Six Man Tag Match
NATURE’S PERFECT BEASTS: WWF World Champion Mr. Perfect, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair & Haku w/Bobby Heenan
vs.
THE MAIN EVENT MANIACS: Macho Man, Hulk Hogan & Roddy Piper

Since Perfect won at Summerslam, he loses here.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
BULLDOG’S BATTALION: The British Bulldog, Bret Hart & The New Foundation
vs.
GLAMOR & GLORY: IC Champion “The Model” Rick Martel, The Warlord & WWF Tag Team Champions The Beverly Brothers

Seeing as I don't take the Beverly Brothers being tag champs seriously, I'll go for the Hart Family on this one.

Survivor Series Elimination Match

MONEY TALKS: Sid Justice, Bam Bam Bigelow, IRS & Crush
vs.
SIX FEET DEEP: The Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior, Texas Tornado & Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat

Considering I picked the name for this team, I kinda want to see them win.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
SPANGLISH JAILHOUSE ROCK: “El Matador” Tito Santana, The Rockers, Big Boss Man & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
vs.
THE HART BREAKERS: The Mountie, The Natural Disasters & The Nasty Boys w/Jimmy Hart

Got to speed up that Rockers breakup.

Debut Match
Cactus Jack vs.
Koko B. Ware

Sorry Koko, but I'm rolling with Cactus on this one.

vs.
THE MAIN EVENT MANIACS: Macho Man, Hulk Hogan & Roddy Piper

I feel like THE MAIN EVENT MANIACS take this one to help sew up some contention between Flair and Perfect, and for Hogan to get his W back.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
BULLDOG’S BATTALION: The British Bulldog, Bret Hart & The New Foundation
vs.
GLAMOR & GLORY: IC Champion “The Model” Rick Martel, The Warlord & WWF Tag Team Champions The Beverly Brothers

BULLDOG's BATTALION, possible ending with Martel losing by count out to run for his life. Heels have just too many goobers to win this one. Martel cares more about glamor than glory this time.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
MONEY TALKS: Sid Justice, Bam Bam Bigelow, IRS & Crush
vs.
SIX FEET DEEP: The Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior, Texas Tornado & Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat

Sid won't take a pinfall here, but SIX FEET DEEP has too much to stay laying down, even in a grave.

Survivor Series Elimination Match
SPANGLISH JAILHOUSE ROCK: “El Matador” Tito Santana, The Rockers, Big Boss Man & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
vs.
THE HART BREAKERS: The Mountie, The Natural Disasters & The Nasty Boys w/Jimmy Hart

THE HART BREAKERS because I am a massive and irrational fan of John Tenta. Literally the only reason. He needs to be the Sole Survivor here. But also, Spanglish Jailhouse Rock is fucking hysterical, 10/10 no notes for that name.

Debut Match
Cactus Jack vs. Koko B. Ware

KOKO B WARE...to get massacred. Surprised to be going the Mankind path with Cactus, but it does make it interesting and different, which I always applaud you for!

I think the babyfaces need the win here more.

Survivor Series Elimination Match

Same as before, Hart and Co need the win more, but i absolutely love what you have been doing with Martel so wouldn't hate that side winning either.

I really have no idea, but gonna just go with the Million Dollar Empire here.

I don't think you debut Cactus with a loss. This will be fun to see how you use him.

Looking forward to reading this!

Faces win to give Perfect his next challenger, but also to plant some issues with Perfect/Flair. Surely there is only so long two guys calling themselves the top champion in the company/world can coexist.

Martel's team loses here, and whoever pins Martel gets the next shot. I know Bret has been out so Bulldog has been the guy, but just feels really strange for me to read a team headed by Bulldog, that includes Bret. Just always felt like Bret was the bigger name. Not necessarily criticism because this is BTB, but just something that's interesting for me. On another note, Martel taking out an insurance policy on his face is MONEY. Awesome stuff.

Was really torn on this one. On one side of the coin, I really don't want Sid losing his first match back as part of DiBiase's group. At the same time, 'Taker/Warrior were both left laying at Summerslam, so I expect them to get one back here.

I have to choose this team to win considering I came up with their EPIC (and better than all the other) team names.

Debut Match
Cactus Jack vs. Koko B. Ware
Oh my. Feel like Foley is one of your favorites. You always have some great character work/plans with him, and I expect more of the same here. It will start with a dominant win.
