I don’t know personally get the brew ha ha on trades. We usually do them in these types of things. No one has to do trades if they don’t want to. I would get the point of what’s the point if we were just simply taking our roster and then grading who did the best job drafting but where the main point is to make a card afterwards I don’t see why two people can’t consensually agree to trades that would make their perspective cards better. I don’t currently foresee myself needing a trade yet so I’m not saying this for personal reasons just giving my two cents on it. i’m fine working with what I got at the moment.

I find it more fun to not do trades myself though I will cave if I really like a matchup option. I don't really care if others do tho, I just like building based on my draft limitations

I'm fine with or without trades. I'll adjust on the fly for my matches. So its whatever everyone decides

Like right now I’ve switched off Kane and would trade him for an early 5th round pick to make sure I don’t get sniped on my next one

If t was more limited to modern or just old, I would be fighting more for trades, but whereas we have everyone from all time, I’m fine just adjusting on the fly.

And you can perfectly do that without trading whatsoever. It's not like we have only a tiny pool of options to pick from. ...and if it's a matchup that is simply gone, then it's gone. We all gonna experience that with this draft.

I don’t know personally get the brew ha ha on trades. We usually do them in these types of things. No one has to do trades if they don’t want to.
It's different really. For the huge Hoss draft we did, sure, trade as much as you want, it wasn't really the base of the draft to make something out of the roster someone put together.

...but here? The whole basis of this is to build a card from what you were able to draft together. That is the meat of the challenge here and trades, if not kept at an absolute minimum (at most), would just render it all pointless, because then we could've just put 320 names in a hat, randomly appointed them to all players and let people just trade until everyone's happy with what they got.

Also having trades in the mix could lead to some players possibly trying to use them to press people when it comes to completing Tag Teams. Yes, we all agree it's a dick move by default, but why give players an actual reason to possibly go down that road?

Would anybody like to do that in the winter of fall? I don't want to be in charge of it, but I kind of want to see if anybody could wheel and deal better than others around here.

I want to stress again that I’m not personally fighting for trades for this game, but I am going to strongly push back on that line of logic. Again, if we were grading purely based off of who had the best draft, you would 100% have a point. The game though, from what I gather is far more who could put together the best card. Drafting is just how we get the roster to work with and I don’t see how trades negate that. In fact, one of the perks of winning a card is you get to steal two wrestlers from them :beckylol

I love the idea of having to make a card out of random talent lol
