Orzo, shrimp and asparagus in a creamy lemon sauce. I went off on this one

Damn, Chris... that looks hella tasty. I usually can't deal with shrimp, but that I would eat in a heartbeat.

The shrimp didn't get as seared as I wanted it but that was saved bc I cooked the orzo in the juices it let out bc of that so the orzo flavor makes up for what the shrimp lost

I'd probably just get the filet or New York Strip tbh but besides that, I'm a chicken fried steak lover so that'd be the other thing that really drew my attention

Crazy how fast the discord urls break now so hopefully you guys see this but I got the Filet. Steak was great, one of the best I've ever had tbh, potatoes were also really good. Asparagus was eh, I made better myself a few weeks ago. Normally wouldn't care but it was a small steak so I still ate them lol wife got the prime rib and similarly the meat and potatoes were great but her vegetables were extra sad and they were more of a feature of her meal

Might end up hitting the happy hour here today too bc we'll be right next door when it starts and prices are dirt cheap compared to the main Dallas restaurant we go to usually. The hama chili is the best dish and it's usually like $25 lol probs just gonna get that and idk might just get a cheap avocado nigiri and have some sake

that looks outstandingly fancy.

Glad the Steak/potatoes were great. Filets are delicious but it always feel teeny tiny. Hence why when I go out I get a different cut. I grill filet's at home at least twice a year (we get a whole Filet for Christmas Eve dinner and freeze the leftovers).

I've been opting for different cuts lately too when I go to nice steak places just to try them if I've never had them before but honestly a nice filet is still my favorite. Not as much food, but I never finish meals at restaurants anyway (and I did finish this one) and reheating a steak is never as good anyway s
