All teams are at one point they’ve been tagging long enough that they are a real team.

I would say if Fraxiom counts then any team not made up by siblings also counts lol but thrown together teams aren't even the problem if the effort is there, some great teams have been like tha. It's just a side effect of a lazy tag division when you have a lot of ones that are just there bc guys needed something to do

Yeah at one point New Day was just thrown together, and they became a legendary tag team. Because of how they were booked, and handled. If all of the thrown together teams were booked and handled like that, then the tag division could be great.

totally. Also Los Hermanos Americanos. Bruto Credo and Julio Credo are a great team.


In all fairness, WWE has NEVER been a Tag territory. They had a few eras where they had great tag teams and that helped make the Midcard great to watch, but for the most part Tag Teams have always been more of a roster-filler role with the company.

My understanding of the matter is that Vince didn't like paying four guys for one match and that one guy could draw as well as a two man act.

Exactly. And while Tag Wrestling is great, he's not wrong.

Plus 99% of all tag teams are just singles that got put together at some point in time cause they didn't do much themselves.

WWE Merger Trial Cancelled

A new update on the WWE shareholder lawsuit. The trial that was set to begin on June 8th is no longer on the calendar.

Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling and Wrestlenomics was informed that the merger trial has been cancelled. There has been no confirmation of whether a settlement was reached or is in the works.


“The WWE merger trial has been cancelled, Court Administrator for the Delaware Court of Chancery Tamara Burton confirmed to me this evening.

We haven’t confirmed whether a settlement has been agreed to or is being worked on.

The trial was previously scheduled to start on Monday.”
