As y'all probably seen, I started DM conversations with every team. Feel free to converse with your Tag partner in there and please make sure to read my post as well.

Also... here's the official (provisional) schedule for this TagBOTS competition. This can still change slightly, IF we can get a 10th team in. Sign-ups are not closed yet!

For transparency sake, I used a German language online tool (www.auslosungstool.de) for drawing sports competitions, which I have been using for I'd say up to 10 years by now.
First I put the numbers of your teams as seen in the post below the OP in this thread and the 9 topics we'll have in the season up to have the tool determine which team will have their BYE round with what topic... the result:

Afterwards I let the tool run again to see what the schedule will be. With the BYEs being decided beforehand, this also determined which topic will be played in which round.

IF we do get a 10th team in over the next couple of days before starting, then that team will replace the BYE each round. That way we still have every team facing every other team once.

The Final (10th) Round will be determined by the placements of the team after the 9th Round.
IF we stay on 9 teams, then there will be three triple threat matches in the final round:
1st v 4th v 7th
2nd v 5th v 8th
3rd v 6th v 9th

Competition starts on Saturday and the topic "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" means the following: The title of your song has to include a named place. Doesn't matter if it's a city, a country, a river, a mountain, a planet etc... as long as it's a geographic location with a proper noun, it's good.

Also... GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! I laid out my plans for this to Booty and asked him about this and I'm very happy to announce that he gave me his blessing for this:
For this TAG TEAM BOTS competition the current BOTS Hall of Fame AND the official BOTS Used Song list are NULL AND VOID! That means an absolute clean slate for this first TagBOTS. Every song (that fits each round's theme) is available and all songs send in during this competition stay off the normal BOTS Used Songs list (if they are not on there already). I will start a TagBOTS Used Song list though for possible future installments.

First info about the upcoming Final Round:
As I mentioned in the rules stuff, since we have 9 teams the final round will be contested in Triple Threat matches. The 1st placed team after Round 9 will face the 4th and 7th placed teams. The other two matches will be 2nd v 5th v 8th and 3rd v 6th v 9th. ... Yes, no BYE week for anyone anymore.

The topic is basically "Day & Night"... It's another "have specific word in Song title" round with two opposite sides. One is either Day, White, Bright, Sun, while the other is Night, Black, Dark, Moon. All teams have to split up here, meaning one player per team has to take the "Day"-side, while the other has to take a song fitting to the "Night"-side. ... That also determines the individual Triple Threat matches.

I will write more about it when the 9th Round is concluded, so please make sure to read the 10th Round thread, when it goes up.

I will write all the details in the Round 10 thread OP, but in short: Team with the most votes in a match gets 4 points this round. 2nd most votes gets you 2 points. The least votes gives you nada.

Why 4-2-0 you might ask... because of possible ties. If the two teams with the highest votes in a match are tied, both get 3 instead of 4 and 2. If the 2nd and 3rd placed teams in a match are tied, both receive 1 point instead of 2 and 0. If all three teams in a match are somehow tied, all three get 2 points.

So long story short... all teams play for 7 points in total, instead of just 6 in the final round.

I only now realize that you might have meant how voting will work here, not the overall scoring. Sorry, if I misunderstood.

Just in case, here's the full detail for everyone, which I also added in the OP of the Final Round thread:

CHANGES TO VOTING & SCORING FOR THIS ROUND:
You will place all 3 songs in each match, instead of just picking the winner. The song you like the most out of each 3-Way will receive 2 match points. The song you like the 2nd most will receive 1 match point. Your least favorite song gets nothing. Obviously every player has to put their own song AND their tag partners song last in their individual matches. I will post a form in the Voting Thread, that you can use, if you want to.

You are competing for a max of 7 points instead of 6 in this Final Round. The match points of your individual 3-Ways will be added up. Then the Tag Team with the most total match points will receive 4 points. The Tag Team with the second most will receive 2 points, while the third Tag Team won't get anything.
Should the two best teams in a matchup tie, both will receive 3 points (instead of 4 and 2). The worst team in that match still gets nothing. ... Should the 2nd and 3rd team in a matchup tie, both will receive 1 point (instead of 2 and 0). The best team in that match would still receive 4. ... IF all three teams somehow end up in a tie, all three teams receive 2 points.

The only thing that isn't different is the Top Three stuff. That runs the same way as it has been going so far.
