New story making the rounds today:

PWInsider.com has heard from multiple sources that former TNA Champion Moose was set to perform at the Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Multiverse show on Friday 4/18 but after TNA approved the appearance, there was a change made and Moose has been pulled from the event before MLP could officially announce him. The belief is Moose would have been in the ring with talents from another promotion, likely AEW.

The rumblings over the last few days is that TNA has had a change of heart about letting their talents in the ring with talents contracted to other companies, which could have a ripple effect on not just other events Wrestlemania weekend but potentially, future events down the line after the big Las Vegas weekend. Wrestlecon's annual Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow recently announced Ricochet vs. TNA's Leon Slater, a match we are told was approved by all parties. Attempts to reach Wrestlecon's Michael Bocicchio today to check on the status of that match have thus far been unsuccessful.

The stories making the rounds is that TNA would not want their talents in the ring with talents from opposing promotions, especially if those events could stream live or be taped for future release. The concern, based on what we are hearing, seems to be centered around the idea that someone could conceivably show TNA talents in a bad light or losing on rival programming. Whether that is a concern that AMC brought up now that they are carrying TNA Thursday Night Impact or even something TNA partner WWE voiced concern over, PWInsider.com cannot confirm at this time.

AEW Collision and TNA Impact went head to head for an hour that overlapped last Thursday, with TNA's usual audience dropping specifically during that hour. Again, whether there is a connection there is unknown at this time, but it's interesting timing.

My hypothesis on the reckess theories at the end is no one is really telling TNA to do this, it's just a thing Silva thinks those parties would want him to do so he's doing it without being told.

And I don't think Collision affecting their ratings mattered at all lmao very uninteresting coincidence I'd say PWInsider

Silva is incredibly enthusiastic about prostrating himself to WWE so I could see this being something he came up with on his own

I think it's usually the most likely scenario in these situations. "I think the guys I want to impress will like this so I'm gonna do it" and the headlines usually end up being "they were forced to do it" which is not true lol

Moved this to it's on thread bc there's more

Details on MJF vs. Bear Bronson.

Fightful Select reports “MJF was actually planned to face Bear Bronson at GCW in March; however, TNA blocked it.”

Full details are available for subscribers.

On Tuesday, it was reported that TNA had pulled Moose from MLP Multiverse. Carlos Silva cited “partner conflicts” as to why Moose was pulled. TNA talent Nic Nemeth is still advertised to face MJF at CAP Wrestling on May 1.

I'm assuming the nemeth/MJF match still happens and they play into this for it. Mostly bc Nemeth literally said he could do whatever he wanted including show up in AEW bc that's what his TNA contract allows for him personally, whether that's true or not, and with MJFs post getting ahead of it, massive negative press if that match gets canceled. I think they'd choose to keep it on even with any unknown things we can't factor in yet

Nic Nemeth vs MJF at Create A Pro is officially off.

Nemeth will face Bear Bronson, and MJF will issue an open challenge instead.

There's suggestions that affected talents should no-show Rebellion... Moose is the one who came out against this idea, which is a wild level of brainrot from him
