Not an advert for my own work, more for the section...
I know many dont write for feedback, but interaction, in my experience, always leads to a better environment. The monthly voting doesnt quite marry up with how many of us are active in here, and feedback certainly doesnt. So I just want to shout out a project that has put the work in, done the hard yards, and if you get any time at all, I highly recommend it as a project that pushes the btb boundaries beyond what ive experienced before. Lots of replies to opening posts which is nice and gives people a gee up right away, but I think we are sorely missing good quality feedback to pieces of work that people have put a lot of time and effort into.
WrestleWizards Mania 41 is one of the most meticulously planned out pieces of btb writing ive ever seen. Even if WWE isnt your bag, from a writing perspective lets support people going above and beyond the usual to deliver something different.
On that. Because asking for change and doing nothing yourself isnt the way to be. I follow most projects and try to give feedback where possible, obviously if youve been writing for a while its hard to catch up, but in the spirit of getting more feedback and engagement, if you have a diary or specific show you want some feedback on, please drop me a PM and im more than happy to engage and support.
On a personal note. Ive had some extreme losses the last year, and I turned to writing as an outlet, and the chats I've had with BT and Roy, or sharing feedback with Stojy and others, have helped me enormously to have a focus other than work or drinking alone. So I hope nobody feels called out or anything by this, i know we all have the amount of time we have and thats that with kids, work, etc, but ive enjoyed being part of this section and its helped me to have a focus. So thanks for that, and this is me looking to pay it forward.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
