I rate the Stan Lane/Eaton duo better but I think it's always a healthy debate between them because Condrey and Eaton were great together too and could just come down to me seeing the Lane version first anyway

I agree and I saw the OG version first but both versions are all time greats. FTR will definitely do some sort of tribute this week

Eaton/Condrey were a better fit for the territorial era of wrestling, Lane/Eaton were a perfect fit for national television though.

Shame to hear about Condrey's passing.

I truly didn't get to see enough of the OG Midnight Expresss but from what I've seen Lane and Eaton were the better pair to me based off the Matches I can compare both squads to honestly. Still he leaves a great Career as a Tag Team Specialist RIP to him.

New reports say that he died due to suffering a broken neck home and that his wife was set to retire soon so that they could spend more time together.

I've pretty much only seen ME matches through DVDs and other classic content. I think Eaton & Lane had better matches but that's not to take anything away from Eaton & Condrey. The Original lineup was Condrey and Randy Rose and they briefly reunited in the late 80's to feud with Eaton & Lane in WCW.
