Rumble Winners make Their Choices for WrestleMania
The respective wins of both Royal Rumble matches, Becky Lynch (Women’s) and Seth Rollins (Men’s) have made their picks. Lynch has decided to go after the WWE RAW Women’s Championship. Potentially setting up the showdown between herself and Ronda Rousey© that the WWE Universe was robbed of at Survivor Series 2018. While Rollins has picked the WWE Universal Championship as the title he wants at the showcase of the immortals. As a result of this decision the WWE Universe a Summerslam 2016 rematch with Finn Balor©.​

The WWE becomes a Lesnar Free Zone
It is being reported that the now former WWE Universal Champion, that being Brock Lesnar. Has once again decided to take another lengthy break from the company, as a result he has finished up with the company for the foreseeable future. His advocate Paul Heyman will be sticking around as an onscreen personality, but it isn’t clear what will entail.​

End of Saudi Arabia Deal
In a truly future shaping announcement, the company has had its hands tied by many of its sponsors. As a direct result of this the business deal it had with Saudi Arabia has been brought to a sudden end.​

205 Live is No More
The cruiserweight centric 205 Live program has been cancelled effective immediately. Due to the simple fact that the show was not drawing viewership numbers to justify its continuation. The WWE Cruiserweight Championship, current champion Buddy Murphy© will be moving over to Tuesday Night Smackdown. Meanwhile the rest of the members of the brand’s show have been split between Monday Night RAW and Tuesday Night Smackdown​

Road to No Way Out ​

Event Announcement
The Tuesday Night Smackdown exclusive No Way Out pay per view was confirmed for the 17th of February. With it emanating from the Toyota Center in Houston Texas.​

Battle for the World in a Cage
At the WWE Royal Rumble pay per view back in late January 2019. The “Phenomenal” AJ Styles was focused on reclaiming the WWE World Championship from the man who beat him for it in 2018. That being the reigning and defending champion Daniel Bryan© who despite himself being considered by most to be one of the best wrestlers in the history of the sport.

Decided to use underhanded means to remain in procession of the WWE World Championship. With those means taking the form of the returning Erick Rowan who unseen by the referee smashed the title into the back of the head of Styles. Someone who took issue with this was the General Manager of the blue brand that being Paige.

Who confronted the pair of Bryan and Rowan on an episode of Tuesday Night Smackdown to inform them. That due to their actions at the Rumble, Bryan would defend the WWE Championship once again against Styles at No Way Out. Not only that but the title bout would be contested inside the confines of a steel cage. Paige finished up by adding that Rowan would face the Good Brothers in a handicap match on the No Way Out kickoff show.

Four Way for a Shot at the World
With the main event for the No Way Out ppv event set in stone, Tuesday Night Smackdown GM Paige. Started to shift her sights onto the showcase of the immortal’s aka WrestleMania.

With that in mind she took to the ring on an episode of her show to reveal how the next challenger would be determined. She revealed that it would be a fatal four way at No Way Out, featuring Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio and Samoa Joe.

TNS General Manager Paige wasn’t done with announcing matches with WrestleMania stipulations attached for No Way Out. On the following week’s edition of Tuesday Night Smackdown, she once again took to the ring. This time around to announce that a five-way women’s division match would take place at No Way Out.

Featuring the likes of Carmella, Charlotte Flair, Mandy Rose, Naomi and Nikki Cross. With the victor of the match going onto WrestleMania to challenge for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship.​

The “Empress of Tomorrow” must Deal with Deville
Fresh off successfully retaining the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble. The current champion, the “Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka© didn’t want to wait to find out who the next challenger to reign as champion would be.

As a result of her becoming the target of the other half have of Fire and Desire that being Sonya Deville. The champion didn’t want to back away from a challenge and asked that the title match take place at No Way Out and it was made official
