Definitely no chance, that thing is a monster. It might be a reason we've seen stuff like the iron survivor created tbh, forced to be creative

for sure. And to be honest I actually prefer NXT do separate things from WWE. Hence why I like that once WWE started doing War Games NXT stopped. And Iron Survivor is probably my favorite new match type I've seen in forever (slightly above Casino Gauntlet)

Hell they have a cage match next week in Houston and I wouldn't be surprised if they have to build that right before the match (or open with the cage and take it down right after).

I had a lot of reservations about the iron survivor bc I feel the rules are a little too cute and only work well when you can kayfabe it, not practical if you pretend it's real, but also the casino gauntlet like you mentioned has the same issue and with both cases, the matches themselves have been way too entertaining for me to care about them lol

oh for sure it's a bit convoluted. But with Iron Survivor they have always done a good job of working the gimmick. That Trick Williams finish a couple years ago is still one of my all-time favorite finishes.

I literally just watched that again. One of those when it comes up I gotta find it on Youtube. Booking Perfection. And it wasn't like he just got 4 falls dominantly, he got one, got hit with a finish, got a rollup, hit with a finish, got a rollup, then countered Breakkers spear with the knee.

The penalty box rules which are the more convuluted parts of the match also were a major strength there bc it limited the participants for him to pick off

My NXT thoughts:

- So we're getting another Tatum/Izzi match soon.
- Triple threat was good when all 3 guys were in the ring. Lol at the double pin, I did not see that coming.
- Tatum and Shiloh friendship!!!
- Charles sees his father and immediately turns lmao. I'm not so high on the stable now that I know big brother Finlay isn't going to be in it, but it might not be so bad.
- Omg did Shiloh f up all of the cars? Lmao.
- Tony D is coming for the NXT title! Four way title match at S&D maybe?
- Lmao Hendry isn't in the fridge. Omg Kendal is devouring that cake. I want cake now.
- Sol vs Lainey was good, lasted way longer than I thought it would though. Also lol the Sol Snatcher was barely even set up both times.
- Is that Wren's old theme? Lmao. Oh, Blake x2. Also Blake vs Tatum? I thought that might happen at some point but I would've guessed it to be for the women's title.
- Wren won! She's definitely winning that belt. Woooo.
- Tag title tournament. I have no clue who will win. Maybe OTM?
- Nvm, sounds like OTM and Darkstate will be doing their own thing. Also I guess they're bringing the um, Americanos, to NXT week. Booker T appreciation night as well.
- Those images next to the ratings look ... meh. Lol. Ethan looks a bit chubby.
- LMAO Ricky yeeted the belt. Ethan ends up getting the pin on Hendry. I'm convinced we're heading for a four way, but we'll see.

Overall, pretty decent show. Next week looks big
