Can someone explain to me how I’m the next most scum read ?

So me pushing for a vote that got a scum member out is the best evidence we have on claiming I’m scum and wanting me to take a 1:1 sac on my life.

I just find it woefully convenient this theories being pushed as I was absent from the beginning of D3 and was an easy target because I wasn’t hear to defend myself.

What I did D2 was no different than what either Booty, Poyser, or Wang did.

While I 100% feel Chris is town, by evidence of everything that’s happened in this game. I just can’t really stand that Hes been sus of me from the beginning because of speculation that I would’ve entered a better way than last game if I was scum.

So the two prevailing theories on me is me getting better at the game and me voting out scum. I just physically can’t see how I’m the next scum read after lethal.

Mine is based upon my reads and how people have played the game.

To me Myself, Chris, Poyser, and Booty are town.

Grim- has claimed the indy role that only wins if Chris dies and he becomes town.

Troop has been on Grim since day 1, was Skys target starting end of day 1 and the beginning of day 2. Then she switched to lethal.

That leaves you and Lethal for me at that point.

Of the 4 I lean most town

Chris is due to his being forthcoming with information and him trying to find scum and he was on Sky.

Poyser- due to him being silenced day 2 and only being able to vote which Sky had used on him. Also was voted by Sky to get the gun hoping he would use it and die because of it.

Myself- I know I am town

Booty- first to vote sky yesterday after she came in and made votes for president and vice president and he felt it was odd.


Just how my board is playing out.

I mean that feels like you're still going off of my day 1 and Jean was mostly mad cuz I had said that I would kill whoever put the nail in my coffin regardless of what they say to me and I have since realized that the final nail probably won't be scum just some misinformed town..
Also Chris and Wang being seasoned players and who know me well seem to feel I am town and Chris is most certainly a unanimous town read so why would you doubt his read on me?

Jean was sus on you before that, he was sus on you for the entire game, that was just further evidence he used. I’m not sure why you’d expect me to be blindly trusting Chris or wang’s reads, that’s not how it works. I trust my own read, and then I gained confidence in that from someone that also knows you very well feeling the same as me. He’s also dead now and we know he was town. Whilst I’m fairly sure Chris is town, there’s a chance he/wang may not be (or may have been but aren’t now!)

FWIW I don’t believe Barry that he can only win with town. I’m operating under the assumption he’s telling the truth about his alignment, but that he can win with either side if Chris dies

Also apologies for the aggression, but I want to solve this shit. And I’ve also had quite the day, it took a bit to set in realizing what the whole gun thing means. I keep thinking of it as a chance to kill scum during the day, but I also am dealing with my mortality in the game and that’s something I don’t want to give up that easily.

it's a fair point. The 50/50 thing absolutely is something to think about. If you're town and you shoot a scum and it backfires, all that happens is you dead.


Also @Just Juice if Brett uses the gun will we know who was targeted, or do we just find out who died.

Brett I'm pretty 50/50 myself on you, I've actually wracked my brain around you more than anyone so I wouldn't say I'm reading you scum for you entrance at all lol I was asking questions about it simply to help my read. I was more comfortable giving you the gun than Sky for example obviously bc I was way more scum reading her.

But at this point POE isn't kind to you as Sky's partner. I think we can clear a lot of people for various reasons we've disclosed. I'm happy with you deciding who you want to shoot yourself tho. I don't want it to be acted like I'm on you like I was for sky tho, you have been a real head scratcher for me overall

No one can be cleared fully now bc of the recruit sadly so that's why I just wanna find sky's partner first, it's all I can do for sanity lol

My reasons for wang and lethal are similar fwiw, lethal stronger bc of when the recruit happened

this is the furthest I've ever made it in a game so while I am town I can't really change your mind so I'm probably a shitty town

Yeah at first I thought he was probably telling the truth but then I sat on it for a bit and realised there’s no way he was town, got changed to Indy but stays town for all intents and purposes lmao. That makes the alignment change completely redundant and makes no sense so he’s obviously lying

This was very well put together and I completely understand your position.

It also doesn’t help with my bit of pressure I put on you yesterday but there wasn’t much succinct gameplay outside of that middle phase where your deduction stuff was front and center for me to dissect. I bought a bit into Jeans reasoning and it convinced me a bit that there may have been something there.
