The 2026 Royal Rumble will take place on Saturday January 31 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The show will air at 2PM Eastern on the ESPN App in the US, and globally on Netflix.

Still going to be so weird watching it so early in the day. I mean, I know the Greatest Royal Rumbles are early in the day but this being an official Road to Wrestlemania Rumble makes it weird.

But afternoon wrestling is kinda cool. If only it wasn't in the specific place they're at.

But yeah the main point is afternoon Saturday or Sunday wrestling is PEAK. There's no better time

I agree too on the first part.

The second, I dunno. I guess since I have been watching the big events on Sunday evenings ever since the 1980s, it has a comforting feeling of familiarity to me to watch it then. I won't lose sleep over it, but it's just what I have been thinking.

Yeah I mean if I were to have any nostalgia it's Sunday at 7 PM Central for me bc that's what PPVs were for like the first 25 years of my life lol but I just prioritize my own convenience now so I only okay Sunday PPVs if they're over by 11 my time

yeah the nostalgia in me likes Sunday at 8PM.

But the Old Man in me likes the idea that I can watch the show mid-day (or in my case when I get out of work).

If a show starts in the afternoon idc if it goes 8 hours. Saturday night a bit better bc I can sleep in Sunday but Sunday night shows gotta have a strict curfew lol

I 100% love afternoon wrestling. It's nice to just get a show and sometimes still have daylight left or it not be after midnight when it ends lol. Both are great.

For us in Europe it’s nice to have a show what’s not past midnight when it starts.
