Realistically none of the "old mafia crew" is even around anymore. Shepard, LadyCroft, Rop3, RetepAdam, Alco, Titania, TKOK, ACP, DwayneAustin, PHEN0M, Lawls, Jamaican, Doddsy, Xenus. All gone sadly

Only ones who've survived from that era are Poyser, Rugrat, Tweet, RDK.... Junk sort of. Big Man hasn't been seen in years and pretty sure Magic returning was a Christmas one-off. The vast majority of the section on OLF nowadays is ringers from other sites

We're best served getting wrestling fans primarily from this site into mafia at this point

No noght posting gives a reset for the day, helps cool arguments and the like. Been playing no night for 3 years and it’s so refreshing.

On MU some games they do dusk & dawn which is an hour post day and an hour pre day where posting is allowed.

Also nights can’t be too rushed due to planning and time zones and people being around. 18 hours minimum imo

I don’t mind long nights when there’s night posting but 18 hours minimum for nights when I can’t post would be absolutely no fun for me personally.

Maybe it’s just this way for me but between sleep and work and then just taking my own personal breaks to watch a show or eat some food I think they’re plenty of time to take breaks but throwing an 18 hour break on top of that just to me, kinda halts the momentum of my gameplay when I get into the mindset of a game I just wanna play the game.

Like I said whatever the host wants to do and whatever you guys wanna do but for me personally I think if you don’t wanna post during the night, there’s nothing stopping you personally from not posting during the night so there’s no real drawback there.

If there’s going to be a compromise, I’d rather do his 20 posts thing because if I miss the start of a night phase because I’m not around, I’m probably gonna miss that hour I would’ve been able to post anyway.

Understand and respect smarks point and they are valid .

I am however not a fan of changing things that were working for the sake of one person's playstyle or schedule. We all live in different time zones and all adapt as best we can . If you can't get posts during Day phase, I don't think night phases being posted in makes you any more being able to play the game.

I'd rather not add more posts , again, respectfully. Just don't think its necessary or beneficial to the game. You can save your posts in a file and dump them during Day when the game is played maybe ?

For me I like both. Its games where they're are way to many posts where I prefer the no night posting. It allows me to read without worrying about people adding another 200 posts when I get done. I am always going to miss alot of the active times when people are here. I mean job and family gets in the way. This is always for fun and a distraction. I will always have times when I blitz the thread with posts and when I am reading back and trying to get a grasp on the game. I dont know how people play and not read the game. I have to do as both scum and town. So I miss some live reactions as I call it when interacting as I feel those give away things too.

I like the nighttime posting idea as through the day I'm at work and have dad duties and other family stuff. Only get one day off a week and it's a Friday. I'm good with whatever everyone else wants but just letting the group know my way of thinking .
