Post-Mania News & Notes

This year’s iteration of the Night After Mania edition of Monday Night RAW will paint a clearer picture of the future of the company. Topics that will be covered are the presentation of the company’s weekly television broadcasts. Also, on the agender although it is only rumoured at this point in time, is that the company will be focused on treating both Monday Night RAW and Tuesday Night Smackdown as completely separate from each other. With that being said it is also speculated that the futures of co-branded and dual wielding champions will be addressed.

One superstar who is not being factored into creative plans for the foreseeable future is the now former WWE Universal Champion. That being the “Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar who is taking yet another of his extended breaks from the company.

WrestleMania 35 was historic in many ways but the most shocking things it will be remembered for when the WWE Universe looks back on it. Is that it will be the final World Wrestling Entertainment pay per view event under the complete control of Vince McMahon. The chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment has decided to take a step back from his usual iron fist approach to the creative direction of the company’s future. More than likely he will be leaving the business in the more than capable hands of his daughter Stephanie McMahon and her husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

It is being reported that a trio of departures from the company have been confirmed as well as the news of several requested releases being refused. The trio of WWE superstars leaving the company are as a result of their current deals reaching their conclusion more than them being releases. Those three men are former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose who is gaining huge interest both in the USA and international markets, Dustin “Goldust” Rhodes who being a tenured star with company is expected to sign with All Elite Wrestling. The third and final man is Lars Sullivan who showed a little bit of talent early on but due to personal reasons has decided to quit the professional wrestling industry. Moving onto the news regarding requested releases the likes of Luke Harper and The Revival have asked for their releases. But all of them have been denied at this point in time.

WWE Hall of Famer the” Glamazon” Beth Phoenix made her in ring return at the WrestleMania 35 pay per view event. To unsuccessfully take part in the fatal four-way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, alongside her Divas of Doom tag team partner Natalya Neidhart. It turns out this match wasn’t a once off appearance and Phoenix will continue to be part of the Monday Night RAW women’s division.

In the final and most shocking piece of post-mania news that has come to light is the sudden and abrupt conclusion to a business deal. The business deal in question is the one the company had with the Saudi Arabian government, a deal that the WWE Universe wasn’t a fan of but had accepted. The deal has reached it’s sudden and abrupt conclusion due to increased pressure and scrutiny from the company’s other sponsors.

Not at this point, I have just hit a roadblock with the other one, and have thought of other ideas in the meantime for a new btb
