I'm curious why no one has simply considered that Andrade got in Sammy's face and Sammy pushed him away from his personal space...which is perfectly reasonable? Now I obviously was not there, but judging by the end result, perhaps they simply feel Sammy defended himself and nothing more. Not to mention if AEW already wasn't happy with Andrade's article and attitude, perhaps they also felt this was a further escalation of that.

now im not saying sammy is innocent, but I have quite a hard time believing that he initiated the physical altercation and nothing happened to him. Not saying that's impossible, but it certainly feels rather unlikely

It’s possible, and I truly hope that’s the case. Because I really hate to think Sammy got treated special for any reason. But yeah, if he pushed him away be he was in his personal space. That would be pretty reasonable tbh. He didn’t punch him, just basically made him step back.
