It’s better than a city, but it’s so unnecessary.

this might actually be my one anti- triple H opinion I think he should stay away from NXT.

But the TakeOver part signifies that it's a proper PLE and not just a weekly TV special.

I think my personal preference would be just using Wargames, Havoc, etc. Separately and save some TakeOvers for the cities like the classic branding if they ever start traveling for PPV weekends again, maybe do 4 takeovers for big 4 PPVs and 4 more or so separate PLEs as non-TakeOver names

For me if you’re gonna do Takeover, make it the NXT version of clash of the champions and battle of the belts and leave the PPV events individually titled events.

It’s weird because anything he overturns on the main works for me, but I do feel 2.0 worked better.

It was more in line with the main roster, but clearly a developmental. We all enjoyed black and gold, but I think if triple h just elevated the people that clearly don’t need to be in developmental, we can have the main roster bang like the old NXT used to.

I still don't think NXT is changing outside of going back to older aesthetics. Trips is super high on recruiting athletes and the NIL program
