As much as understand the rebuild, I hope WWE doesn’t expect this to make the ratings jump. At least not overnight. You have tons of fresh faces that nobody really knows. A couple of them have star potential(Breaker, Hayes) but you have to re-endear yourself to the fans.

And it doesn’t help that you may have alienated a lot of that fan base by running most of the guys that they want to see out of town.

I just hope they know 2.0 is going to be a marathon; not a sprint.

Thatcher had been hurt for a bit now. I had no idea that he had been coaching while he was off tv though.

It sucks to see people lose their jobs but I know that a lot of these folks will land on their feet somewhere. There’s plenty of other opportunities out there in wrestling that are waiting for them.

The only head scratcher here is Regal cos he could’ve easily just maintained his GM role and done what he did.

They always had that and they barely really do it. At some point you shouldn't tell people "to be patient" anymore. Especially if your track record of actually forming new "stars" out of that moldable talent is absolute abhorrent over the last 20 years.

My prediction (pure speculation) is this was more firing from his backstage role than anything else. And they wouldn't want to pay him the same for only being a TV personality as opposed to the extra stuff, maybe he wouldn't want a pay cut either if they was the case. Just speculation on my part tho
