NXT is a Triple H political campaign in order to slate him to run WWE following Vince McMahon.

Let’s look at the facts:

-NXT was started in 2012, following the extreme backlash by fans for Triple H burning CM Punk in 2011.

Oh how people forget...

Triple H buried CM Punk in 2011 and wrestling media hated him, saying he was unfit to be future owner of the company.

This hurt him, as Stockholders would read that backlash and NEVER let him run WWE.

So what did Triple H do?

Start NXT and push Indy favorites, in order to get favor with the smarks, to alleviate the backlash.

See Triple H always got heat for talent for years, but NEVER did he experience the backlash that he did in 2011-2012 when he did it to CM Punk, that was the final straw, to the point where no one wanted him to take over WWE and wanted Shane back.

To the point where they booed him during his retirement match at Summerslam 2012.

Triple H started NXT in order to repair his image following the disaster of the Punk burial, which gave him the most corporate heat he ever got, and he has a bunch prior.

And guess what....

it worked!

Smarks were played like a fiddle, they magically forgot Triple H’s agenda and the fact that he got exposed to not have a clue, just because he pushed their Indy favorites in NXT.

Despite the fact that NXT is overrated, doesn’t draw and is creatively bankrupt.

Let’s not forget the real reason this Indy show exists... so Triple H can get politically pushed into power by smarks.

So now if he ever takes over Stockholders won’t read the fact that he absolutely sucks at writing, has no clue about the business and is disingenuous.

NXT started on February 23rd, 2010.

As a game show,

Started in 2012 as the Indy brand under Triple H in effort to repair Triple H’s corporate image following extreme backlash of 2011/2012

All of 00s Triple H title runs raises an eyebrow on the backlash of CM Punk and his little band of :neckbeards:

Plus he just basically did to the indies what Vince did with the territories. ...sign the big names, offer deals to the smaller feds and eventually cannibalised them.

It’s funny because Indy Smarks enable him when he’s messing up their niche.

Not that I like Indy wrestling, it doesn’t draw and it’s boring, but I find this funny that they defend someone who is actually against it.

Triple H is palpatine in the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

I'd say he's more like Cersei when she introduced the sparrows to westeros.

Sure he's probably gonna have to sacrifice a kid (NXT playing Tommen) but he'll eventually sit on the throne.

You think the Full Sail partnership was just for a place to use? Fuck no....he's grooming 5he next wave of production staff.

Thats the thing Triple H is 1000x worse than McMahon.

They would be out of business in less than a year, those who want McMahon out are very emotional because Triple H would take over, it irrational.

I find it interesting that you insist people suck HHH's dick nowadays whereas now we've got a real alternative again (AEW) we're back to him mostly being trashed

You're right, i'm sure the stockholders were absolutely furious at him burying CM Punk and read all the online forums and Reddit and then came to their decision he wasn't fit to run the WWE. Jesus christ, what a stretch.

I also feel like the pro-NXT sentiment has faded a lot since it moved to USA and went to 2 hours. I know it certainly hurt my love for the show. Though, it's still my preferred brand of WWE.

I don't doubt at all that Trips saw this as a platform to bolster his legacy though. I doubt he was super worried about how the diehard fanbase perceived him, but still, I can see him recognizing the great opportunity that NXT would afford him to have something all his own to point to and say he's contributing positively to the future of the business, and perhaps demonstrate that he could be the best candidate to succeed Vince. And who could blame him for taking advantage of that?

Stockholders were already weary about him as he was unproven, that’s why they did the entire coo move to establish a corporate portfolio.

He utterly failed, hence why he resorted to appealing to smarks out of the blue despite being contrary to that style, up until the very year prior with CM Punk.

Because he actually thinks appealing to a niche will get those vocal to support a political push to run the company.

It has utterly failed though because

1. Everyone sees through it, we know he absolutely hates that style, so it’s dishonest of him.

2. Even if those Indy fans are played by suckers by it, it’s still a niche amount of fans and stockholders don’t care and it does nothing to help his image.

3. NXT doesn’t draw whatsoever, so it only proves again, he has no business running anything.

No offence - but there is no way you have any actual insight into what the stockholders feel about Triple H.
Also - I know a lot of people who when it comes to the WWE - only watch NXT.

Triple H not only has zero success as showrunner, but proven to not draw and zero idea what to do.

With respect you knowing fanatics who only watch NXT doesn’t change that it doesn’t draw, it gets 600,000 viewers, it is a corporate failure.

There needs to be a radical reformation in WWE, one of the necessities is getting Triple H out of creative and power, as he’s had creative power for 21-22 years now, and he failed in every single instance.

He had chance after chance, this is necessary for the company to succeed but won’t happen, because he’s apart of the owners family.

600,000 viewers is a niche, only devoted fanatics watch it weekly.

Numbers are facts, not opinion.
