So this is interesting.

I mean we all knew MITB was coming to New Orleans as part of the WrestleMania shift. But the date is different. They are moving MITB to after Summerslam. I kinda like this idea, as SummerSlam won't have cash-in teases. Also the Fall feels like more of a downtime, so putting the Briefcase in play at that point is smart. Not to mention the potential for cashing in after a War Games Match (or hell even in a War Games Match).

But MITB has been moved from September 6 to October 10.

September 6 is Labor Day Weekend. That and other factors made New Orleans want to move it as it was gonna drive prices up for spectators.

Also, early September is smack dab in the middle of Hurricane season. No need to risk it.
