The theme for the October 25th WWE Bragging Rights PPV will be matches between the Raw and Smackdown brands for "bragging rights" over which is the better brand. There are also plans for an "interactive voting element", similar to Cyber Sunday, which the show is replacing. The logo will feature the colors of both brands (red and blue) to play off of the theme. The PPV takes place on Sunday, October 25th at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, PA

Well, that's definitely different than the original concept we heard of.
Ya know...something as important as a brand war PPV should have really gotten a few months build up instead of this horribly put together Hell In A Cell PPV.

Yeah, it's completely different from the orginal one that I read. This one was on ewrestlingnews, but so was the other, so I don't know which one is actually right, this is the most recent though.

But as for the ppv format, it really does actually need some good build-up. I mean there hasn't been a brand supremacy ppv in years. So much for SS being a RAW vs SD ppv though.

I'm also looking at it this way. Obviously the Champion vs. Champion vs. Champion match is entirely possible for this (it would obviously make sense). Bragging Rights has heel written all over it. Could you imagine how hardcore Punk would gloat about this if he won? It would be priceless.

It's a horrible risk for Taker to be wrestling in his state. I'd say he's got one more great Mania feud left in him, but they're putting it all at risk by putting him in a HIAC match.
Which is why I'm thinking this may be a very quick or boring HIAC. The rumors of Punk's bodyguard my come into effect here.

So a bunch of heat-less inter-promo matches then? :sigh:

At this rate we may as well just not watch WWE between Summerslam & Royal Rumble.

So basically a show with no real angles and no titles changes?

I hate it.

As long as WWE doesnt blow up John Cena vs Taker in this PPV in the Champion vs Champion match, then Im alright with it
