I hope this hasn't been covered, I didn't do a search.

I just watched this a week ago and never quite put together just how bizarre this whole image became. It's very sad and I had tears in my eyes. Benoit and Guerrero hugging in the ring, both champions, confetti falling, biggest ppv of the year.

Then you realize they would both be tragically dead 3 years later.

Yeah, this threw me for a loop too. Just seeing them alive and happy is very weird now.

It is sad. Of course that's the same PPV that Austin had to stun both Lesnar and "I'm still a HUGE Draw" Goldberg to get the audience to stop booing the whole match down the toilet. How sad.
