In recent threads alot of people have been showing their hate for the gimmicks of Cena, Rey etc. (basically the goody goody gimmick) but what could the perfect gimmick for people like this, be realistic, we're not gonna see another Stone Cold or Randy Orton out of these guys but what can be done to get people like this not to be such goody goodies?

I think Stone Cold was as close to a perfect face gimmick as we're ever going to see.

Oh, herro California!
I don't think there is any such thing as a perfect gimmick. The very best gimmicks are the ones that we get to see evolve at the exact right moment. The Rock. Nobody starts off with a solid gold gimmick. And if you look back on it, you can watch the progression of the character.

One of the reasons there are so few really memorable characters is because it has to be the right guy, the right audience, the right storyline, the right moment. A lot of different elements have to line up. It's like a freakin' eclipse.

As far as baby faces go, there isn't really anything they can do differently. They basically are the good guys who do 'the right thing' according to the basic code of ethics that society feeds to us. To veer off that path would mean not BEING a baby face.

Randy Orton's gimmick is good but no one else could handle it, it is a one time gimmick imo. I think more Christian type faces would be awsome (but you can't just mimick it, too many of one type of gimmick would be lame too).

So basically IWF hates faces!

Not a 100% correct conjecture. We respect their overness with the fans and their work ethic but the IWC is more into guys that are amazing on the mic and great in the ring. Most faces today are either shabby on the mic and average in the ring or bad in the ring and good on the mic. Not much middle ground unless your talking about Cena or DX

What about Rey, i know he isn't amazing on the mic but you can't say that you don't enjoy his matches when he isn't against someone silly like Big Show.

I just get sick of Rey sometimes. In the ring, hes mostly in there as the "Ultimate underdog" gets dominated but then wins in the end with some high spots. Nothing special out of a Rey match unless it is with Someone like Punk, Jericho, etc

That's why they need to bring back tohe cruiserweight division because imo Rey is the best cruiserweight eer in WWE but he can't show that against the guys he is facing now, he needs a few people on his level (not to job for him but to give the smaller guys something to do, NO HORNSWOGGLE THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Even when the cruiserweight division was at its last days, Rey was being established as a main eventer. I doubt that they would send him down there tbh. Now Bourne, Chavo, Primo, Tatsu, and all of them would make up a pretty sweet division and add some entertainment back to Fridays

Bourne would rule them all, Chavo hasn't had a decent match in ages, Primo fails, Yoshi Tatsu, meh. If Dolph Ziggler could be classed as a cruiserweight then that would be good, Dolph Ziggler vs Ean Bourne Wrestlemania dark match, the revival of the cruiserweight title, that would set up a great rivalry but there is no way it would actually be live at Wrestlemania.

Ziggler doesnt fit at all.

Chavo is great. If he wasn't the but of Hornswoggle jokes all of the time, it would be better. When he was ECW champ, that was the first time after Eddie died I felt he had actually done something.
