Thought there was a thread on this, but couldn't find it. So anyways....

Anyone have this game? I had the orginal Pokemon Silver so I got Soul Silver. It has a pokemon walker where you can put a pokemon on it, and then as you walk, it counts the steps and levels your pokemon up. You can play with other people and catch pokemon on it too.

I'm not going to walk around with that thing so I'm trying to figure out how to make the steps count go up without actually walking. I tried shaking it but it would go up real slow. I patted it on my leg and that worked good, got 2500 steps in like 5 minutes, but when I stopped and did it again, it didn't work.

Turn on some metal and just sittin there with it attached to your lower part of your jeans and just pretend your playin some double base. The Devil Wears Prada would probably help you get the job done.

This game kicks all sorts of ass, I got SS too, and I liked how the Pokemon walked behind you but then it started to get ridiculous. How the heck can a Gyrados walk behind you like that!?

Fuck the Pokewalker, it's gay anyway.

I heard you can catch Mewtwo, which is gonna be my biggest moment as I never caught him before. I've already got Typhlosion to level 50, am at the Pokemon League, and caught Lugia + Master Ball'd Entei. I'm gonna trade over all of my tough guys from Platinum later so everything'll get easier for me.

Using the Master Ball on Entei is a big waste, imo, especially since you already have Typhlosion as a fire pokemon.

Haven't got the game yet, but plan on getting it. Silver was by far the best game of the series, so yeah, this is jizz. Anyone know how many badges you can get?

I'm gonna trade over my Master Ball from Platinum for Raikou. It was just whichever guy came to me first. And the only reason I use it on those guys is they auto-run.

Word for the wise, don't even waste time trying to catch Lugia unless he's paralysed/asleep because he was really hard otherwise. :(

16 badges plus Pokeathlon ribbons.

I'm fairly sure you needed the master ball to catch Mewtwo. What you need for the legendary dogs is a levelled up enough Golbat/Crobat that has mean look, so you can be sure that they don't run, or of course, hypnosis. Catching them is more to do with patience than anything tho. (Sidenote: Why no Suicine? I understand that Raikou is awesome, but I would have thought that since you have Typhlosion, Entei would have been at the bottom of your list.)

I seem to remember it taking me forever to catch him when I was little.

Awesome.

Pokemon Silver was the only Pokemon game I've ever beaten. lol. So having a remake of it, with a shit ton more to do, is sorely tempting. But alas, I've got bills to pay. lol.

James: Fuck that, Mewtwo is just like any other legend guy i'm sure. And yeah, I did the Mean Look/Hypnosis combo in Platinum with Gengar, but it'll take too long for that, and i'll feel cheap if I trade guys. :( Suicune for some reason isn't on the radar. :( I'm thinking he's in an event somewhere in the game, but yeah, he's the one I wanted especially since well...now that I think about it there's a reason. But I won't spoil why he's not catchable at first, but trust me, it's gay.

Bill gives you an Eevee. And I have every evolution of it due to breeding. :eek:

TQO: It's well worth it, but buy Platinum too used or something. It's inferior to SS, but it'll net you some extra stuff and extra hours of some fun stuff. :y:

EDIT: Gah. Bills. :(

lol. Maybe next paycheck. It'll be an actual full paycheck instead of just one weeks worth and I'll have more I can do.

I seem to remember in Yellow that when you threw a pokeball at him that it simply wouldn't reach him and would fall under him. I'm guessing it'll be the same here.

So I take it as he's registered on your pokedex? If so, yeah, he'll have to be a special event.

I was going to say breed the motherfucker, and get Espeon and Umbreon (and Flareon too but you got Typhlosion and not Feraligatr cos you like it up the ass :eek:). If you have them already now all you have to do is train them. :D

What kinda bullshit is that? If that happens, i'm personally calling Nintendo and leaving a 30 minute rant to their phone services.

Well now that I thought back to why he's not on the radar, i'm sure Suicune is just hiding on a cave or lake or something.

Typhlosion is the fuckin' man. Plus my girlfriend will trade me Totodile from her SS and my sister is gonna trade me Chikorita from her HG, so I think i'll be fine. :eek:

I nicknamed my Typhlosion Kobashi btw.

TQO: WOOT~! Lets all have an IWF Tag team battle or something.

My downloaded copies won't work, so i'll try again, or harass my sister into buying it and then knocking her out and playing it.
