You guys are acting as if somehow fueding with Shelton is beneath him.... Correct me if I'm wrong, but HKid, Jurrasic and co are usually the overtly pro-SHELTON contingent who say he should be a world champ..... A touch contradictory??? ...Oh HELL YEAH!
Confused me here. I didn't say anything about Ryder feuding with Shelton beieng beneath anyone. I just said I was disapointed that he wasn't challenging for the title. But I figured he would go into a program with Ryder after AW's show last week.
I just thought it was odd how Regal was named num. 1 contender. Maybe I'm wrong but he hasn't been on ECW in 2 weeks. He didn't win ant type of match to get it. He just pops up after a hiatus and is named number one contender. They could have had the match between Regal/Dreamer for number one contender or something. I duno, just seemed odd to me how he was named.
Other random comments:
*I smell the end of the AW show.
*Why bill Hurricane as "Hurricane Helms" while they're doing this Clarke Kent shit with him.... A dumb and fundamental flaw if they're gonna pretend they don't know Hurra & Greg Helmes are same guy.
*The longer it goes on without them coming to blows, the more it seems that were destined for a Kozy/Zeke tag team... This better be a short term deal to spark a fued which turns Zeke face... His presence is so fucking awesome. He'd be awesome as a badass face if he can hold his shit down once the bell rings (non-squash stylee of course.).
*LOL @ poor T.Reks (Shit, I am I being slow..... I only just clocked the dinosaur twist to his name... By accident! lol).
* I maybe in the minority of starting to like the AW show. It serves it's purpose and imo, does it well. I want to see how this guy is in the ring though.
*I was hoping that they wouldn't go the route and play dumb that they didn't know and maybe just have Helms play the Eric Young/Super Eric thing where he's in denile that he's a super hero, although others already know.
*I'd seriously hate if they became a tag team. Their little program was good at 1st, but there's no enhancement to the storyline. After a month of doing the same thing (which is obsoluty nothing) people are going to be turned off from it..
*Reks should just go heel. Dreamer's not doing anything, have Reks vs Dreamer, Dreamer win with a role up and Reks go all out and do a heelish attack on him. I feel he's going to go down the Ortiz route, shit face nobody cares about and then go on a too-late heel turn.
no: I don't know whether to believe that considering how good that match was. But if it's true (which given the length of his Shelton match I have a hunch it is.) The "officials" have obviously lost all sense of anything. He has every bit as much potential as Dolph or Swagger on the other shows and pulled through their HORRIBLE gimmick to be taken seriously. I hope for the show's sake he impresses somebody up there...
