Let's have a draft! We'll draft 20 wrestlers each then make cards out of the drafted wrestlers. We'll then vote on the best cards in a tournament fashion.
  • No storylines or writing will be expected. Just matches
  • Anybody, male, female, or otherwise who has ever done any work for any promotion at any level is eligible to be drafted.
  • Serpentine order draft, so whoever drafted last in one round, drafts first in the next round.
  • The draft clock will run for 24 hours. After that, the next person will be on the clock. Anybody who misses a pick may make it up immediately. You are allowed to leave your pick with another person in the interest of expediency.
  • Each pick is good for just one worker. Tag teams and managers must be drafted seperately. Also, it is good for all incarnations of this worker (e.g. Mick Foley= Cactus Jack=Dude Love= Mankind)
  • Any name that will appear on the card (including managers, interviewers, guest referees, etc) must be drafted.
  • No card can have more than three stipulation matches.
  • Cards cannot have tournaments, Mayhem 1999 and Survivor Series 1998 are fine examples of what you can't do.
  • After winning a round, the winner may choose up to two of their opponent's wrestlers to add to their roster.
So let's sign up... feel free to ask any questions right here.

  • No card can have more than three stipulation matches.
  • After winning a round, the winner may choose up to two of their opponent's wrestlers to add to their roster.

Questions to these points:
First the stipulation matches. Unless I'm thinking completely wrong here, things like 3-Ways or other Multi-Men matches are all stipulation matches, aren't they? What exactly are we talking about here, if I may ask? I just ask because 3 matches with special conditions feels low for a card that will probably feature about 7-8 matches.

And to that second point... we can choose Wrestler from our beaten opponents for the next round... sooo does that mean we going to have to book a different card with every round or that we can just make minor changes to our previous card by adding those we got from our opponents? Filling up the roster more would then also work against a low max amount of stip-matches, wouldn't it?

Just wanna make sure some things, sorry for that.

Id imagine the stipulation matches are the standard no dq, falls count anywhere, ladder matches etc

I guess so, that's fair.

Either way, I'll be in for this, but just wanna make sure about the rules before any kind of draft planning can be started :lol

Multi-man matches are not stipulation matches. If I was going to do that, I may as well consider tag team matches to be stipulations. No, stipulation matches add or take away something from the core of a match (add a weapon, take away a pinfall to make it submission only, and so on).

You are not required to change anything on your card from round to round. You are allowed to take up to 2 wrestlers from your fallen opponent. This is not mandatory.
