My thoughts:
- Very fun way to kick off the show. 8 man tag sounds interesting too.
- Sol vs Izzi was alright. Bit long. Zaria hit a nice spear on Sol, and cost her. So we're getting another match between them, that could be interesting.
- Blake has a custom belt lol. Mixed tag set up, that could be fun.
- Dorian Van Dux has joined the NXT roster, interesting.
- Carver/Troy/Briggs was alright. At times it felt like 3 big, slow guys throwing hands... and throwing more hands. There were some fun moments though. Carver pounces both guys.
- Lmao, Ricky interacting with Tatum and Shiloh was funny.
- 8 man tag. Ricky and Ethan's interactions are fun. Looks like Ethan and Ricky are both working a little more like faces in this match. Lennox was annoyed he didn't get a tag. Omg, Ethan and Ricky didn't tag in. Lmao, Myles attacks Lennox. I forgot about that. Tony D pulls Ethan and Ricky down, and tags in. Lmao, Ethan steals the win. Tony D makes him pay. Decent match.
- Huh, another debut. Starboy looks really good, even in defeat. Kind of funny how TNA are no longer even in these tournaments.
- Carver and Tony D staredown...
- Mixed tag. Loud chops. Wait, when did Blake tag in... hmm, Blake pins Tatum. Surprised we're still doing this feud tbh. I thought Blake might move up to the main event scene.
- 2 week NXT special, "Revenge" with some matches and a concert announced.
- Jacy interrupts Lola. She's going to regret that, lol. Another rematch is set. Fatal Influence attack Lola, but she takes them out. Wow, she didn't even need a save.
That ep was alright. I get the feeling we are indeed going to see a number of call-ups soon, so I guess they'll get the best out of certain people (Page, maybe Saints, Jacy)... but who knows.
