I think what makes this show particularly hard to call is that the characters in Tim Robinson's shit are naturally odd and do shit that would feel suspect anyways, so it's hard to tell who or what you need to hone in on

I would counter with you should hone into everything bc even if it's not an important plot point, they'll set up some amazing one liner 4 episodes later

Like when he gave Mike his cellphone to get it away from himself. That could easily be nothing, but I personally find it a weird thing for a person to do, especially given the circumstances, and then who knows what Mike could have done with it... possibly nothing, possible crucial
