Yeah I mean there's a good chance I'm reading into it too much, but my perception at that time was that he was legitimately struggling to accept the failure of the Jeep thing, and I guess I kind of extrapolated that maybe he had a bigger mental breakdown off screen than what that scene depicted. Which, like with all of this stuff, who the fuck knows :lol

There's still plenty of gaps in the timeline and presumably much that is yet to be revealed that will be essential to piecing this all together

I do kinda like the theory you said that in some way or another, this whole conspiracy is just him coping with having to go back to this job. Kind of like a midlife crisis situation. With more layers I'd assume.
