Especially when this early and day one and we can’t even do a hammer I’m just asking you to think what would be the ultimate goal of a mafia me in this particular situation would be because I went into that knowing that you had already placed the vote on me and this probably wouldn’t have looked very well, but I did it anyway because I’m trying to solve the game.

As for knowing. Every game we play now you guys complain about all my back-and-forth I do Chris mentioned it earlier in the same game. I am very mindful of when I’m going into a back-and-forth that people are gonna be watching on it specially after you’ve already voted me and you’re a strong player who has pull.

It can’t be the safest play ever if I’m literally now having a back-and-forth with you and you’re asking other people what they think of me. I’ve clearly attained the attention that I wouldn’t have wanted.

I hate these responses from Smark a lot. Again, you're showcasing you have great self-awareness and game-awareness.

You can't showcase that then also say well I would still act timid. It's a text based game, you can sit on and think out any bit of your responses and even more so, if playing freer provides you with more shield as scum, then you would just do that. I see this less as of a defense of you, and more as a rationale behind how your playing a scum game lmao

Cause I’m immensely aware of how not safe a back-and-forth is from me. Last game specifically there were people that were literally talking about wanting to kill themselves and all kinds of other stuff when I was going into that back-and-forth with juice. I don’t ever forget that if I’m going to intentionally grill someone like I was doing to Barry I know what I’m doing and how it’s gonna look.

Let me try and make it more clear. I think voting a Brett that had not yet posted after Jean suggested it is exactly the play you would think wouldn't lead to a back and forth.

It did, but could you really have predicted that? If you're town as well, even if you don't mind them, would you have expected that vote on Brett to lead to this?

as others have said, you seemed very carefree in the last game when you were town. you don't seem that way in this game
its something that a lot of new players struggle with in general, especially when their personality is naturally abrasive. it gets dialled back as scum because you don't wanna draw people's ire and you wanna try and blend in without attention etc and it sticks out

You’re free to think this but again you haven’t played enough games with me to know that I’ve been aware of my own meta for like 8 years now and it has not changed much. Knowing your meta doesn’t mean you can do a lot to change it.

As for it being a text based game, yes but another thing is look how quickly I’m responding. I know some scum will do this and they won’t check their chat, but I am not making this many posts without stopping every once in a while to see how it’s faring in the chat, but you’re not gonna like that response from me either cause again I’m bringing my meta but it’s all I got right now we’re on day one nothing‘s happened.

More game play is more intel. How on earth would that be irrelevant ? Bootys played 3 games of Mafia including this one, every day for him is proportional to 10s of full games of information others like poyser, smark, jean, chris, and yourself have on each other.

Oh, then, I think there is some confusion. I’m not talking about the vote. The vote is perfectly safe. I’m talking about me specifically riding Barry’s junk on every post that he made specifically where I’m trying to find out why he doesn’t like jean’s push on Brett.

That wouldn’t have created back-and-forth, but my decision to go at a third-party over it and constantly question his logic on why he was voting for Jean and not for Brett was a very intentional back-and-forth that I did deliberately.

Well all I can say I don’t think I’ve been much different other than I’ve been working and I’m still exhausted from my Vegas trip so maybe I’m not my normal self. If that leads to a mislynch that sucks but so be it.

I don’t know how long you wanna go back and read games but I will usually make a couple posts and then I would ghost I have ghosted for like eight hours before lol

Not if the vote was serious mind you, but on a day one, whether there isn’t a hammer, there would be no harm in me, pretending I went to bed.

Getting better and my ghosting was probably the number one thing I did better at recently ISU because it was usually the number one the way I get caught people say I’d be really active in the first couple hours day one then I disappear come back at the end of day one and then be very sporadic in my posting on day too, and I got caught a lot on day two.

But I am much better at that now.

However there is a condition in place:

The other players get to decide whether the gift is given to Lethal or not.

If you wish for Lethal to recieve the gift post GIFT YES: Lethal and if you don't want Lethal to recieve the gift post GIFT NO: Lethal.
