Poyser: As of right now, we had a small blip of play out of Poyser. I found his play to be significantly different to that of his game as scum that I saw. He seems very bloodhoundy, searching for scum as opposed to poisoning the well and seeing what sticks. Last game he would constantly throw his vote out to poison a bit, yet I don't think he placed an early fluff vote (could be wrong here)
Troop: Not too dissimilar from any of the games he's played (all as town I believe). Typical D1's for Troop are pretty absent. So it's been a treat having him play and be pretty active. Could that right there be a tell that he's scum? Idk, nully. But he's in a similar position to Booty where they are both inexperienced and I've only seen either play as town and for my money, they are both playing as they have played with no real deviation.
Smark: Similar play to last game, he is an active mf when he's active and dipping into theories and chasing after things he catches. I don't think we can read him sharing the info with us as town, as last game (I can't remember who) didn't share info until they were pressed about it and they ended up getting mislynched for it IIRC. But he is playing a similar scum hunting game as we saw last game, maybe the only difference is he's backpacked a bit rather than chasing his own theories and hell the one independent theory was an inaccuracy (not calling it a lie).
Chris: Anchoring conversations, has had a lot of independent theories and mentions. Only played one game with Chris and he was town and I'm feeling a very similar vibe to this. I really don't have much else from his posts, very vanilla. Could be town or just smart scum.
Sky: Sky is kind of in that Juice and Barry category for me, where I do not want us falling for easy bait on "weird" play. I led a mislynch on juice because of weird and it's sat with me. While this presents as a good shield for Sky, Juice and Barry, I truly feel like scum games from them would appear un-weird, which would then have me throw out my red flag. So Sky playing weird is almost par for the course / townie to me.
Barry: I personally am not the biggest fan of the hard reading of Booty's interactions. I think it's such a nothing burger and almost intellectually dishonest to be saying that Bootys vibes off and he's not playing the same game as he always does. All the games I've played with Barry (he has been town), he typically plays from the outside. Does some troll votes and then when he gets pressed goes "let's all be friends, we shouldn't argue. It's all just a game" , him almost goading Booty into personal stuff ("your aura is off") just feels so different for him. And to my earlier point, this doesn't feel like weird play, it's normal but just feels incorrect.
Booty: Definitely have said what I said about Booty. I have no idea how he would play as scum, so I am just going to naturally read him as town. I 100% believe his role claim but I just don't know if it is town or scum.
Wang: Playing from the outside, not getting in the weeds too too much. Mathematically it would be insane for Wang to have rolled scum in 3 of 4 games, but I can't help but feel like this game isn't too dissimilar from his D1's as scum.
Jean: I really have an impossible time reading Jean. The game I played town with him, I basically just went off the fact we had both been teamed up as scum the time before and it'd be unlikely for either of us to be scum again. Took that gamble and it paid off. Last game while he was indy, I legit was not sure he was until it was time to kill him. So that MF is good at playing the role and not appearing out of the norm. I may go back and read our game as scum together to see how he played D1, just for intel. But I just think he's incredibly savvy and intelligent to play differently as scum or the same or WIFOM intensifies. I'd say I'm null on Jean as of rn.
