Id counter with why not claim if town though? You’re saying he did it last time as town, with a scummy looking role without issue so if having that role didn’t stop them from claiming then why now?

I’m assuming he will claim, there’s a pretty decent chance he’s just stalling for a little longer because he doesn’t have one prepared yet
