Regardless of how you may feel or whatever was said about someone in the past, it still sucks to see someone lose their job. Yeah, they’ll be fine and bounce back on their feet and the view of it happens it’s life or whatever, yeah it is but it doesn’t mean people can’t still show concern for seeing someone lose a job.

not an avid NXT watcher but Reed was NXT NA Champion like...weeks ago lol
I think one of the other guys is also an ex NA Champion this year (? correct me if it's 2020 )
one had literally just joined a brand new factions.
Its pretty weird
Oh right, Reed was pretty cool what I saw of him on Takeovers. I just mean to the people saying the releases weren't a big deal.

Bobby Fish is a great hand and was part of the biggest faction in NXT history, I would assume TUE is considered to be anyway.

Yeah I think the issue is he is 42 and had injuries. they cut kona too (obviously a much lesser talent) who had been mostly on the shelf so there is a bit of a pattern . look at Bray even, looks like they just look at a spreadsheet and see money paid and how many dates and just cut people. pretty ruthlless since they hoarded all of it to try and stomp out the indies in the uk and us for 15 years

Might be smart if he branched out and tried Impact. It would give him access to AEW and New Japan, theoretically.

Hopefully we even just see ROH get involved more with other companies down the line

Im js if Bobby Fish wanted to try and branch out as single star this is his time to try plus in ROH you could put him in pure Divsion as well add on to the fact you dont want him in singles competition put him in The Kingdom with Bennett & Taven

They've literally said - they are rebranding the whole concept of NXT. That's literally a fact. The names at this point, are just a fraction of the clear shift in the NXT project - but sure - bury your head in the sand and take the militant view of - how dare you speak out against WWE. Hilarious.
Oh boo hoo, sorry for questioning you, don't go deleting your posts again because someone dares to disagree with you.

And again how is them rebranding a bad thing? Do you know know what they plan on doing? At the end of the day, unless they do something radical like going back to the old game show, then it's still going to be NXT. It's still gonna feature the majority of the quality talent they have mixed in with whatever this new vision is.

Questioning me? You didn't even question me - you just didn't read my original point. But then proved my response with the above quote. Also - people spend their whole time speculating on this forum. Not sure why you are so triggered.

Sean Ross Sapp spoke with a WWE official this morning about the mass releases, them happening so frequently, and what they thought was the catalyst, and what was supposed to happen.
renderTimingPixel.png

"NXT released over a dozen wrestlers Friday in a regular, yet shocking move. Fightful has inquired about the releases to high level WWE officials, of which one spoke on the record, but under the condition of anonymity.
The official noted to us that in 2018, the company entered a "talent stashing" mode with what everyone assumed were honest intentions. Fightful was told that many pitches involved collecting talent, developing Performance Centers worldwide, and supplementing each Performance Center with native and international talent, with some traveling between global territories. Within a year, the source told us, they could see the brakes being pumped on that and talent being "parked," with an enhanced focus goingto launching NXT on USA. Once that happened, the pandemic occurred shortly after, and everything came to a screeching halt.
The official both expressed extreme frustration, coupled with explaining the line of thinking from a corporate aspect. Despite the outward frustration, the "it's business" line of thinking is privately put forth within the company, even to Fightful, by several.
When asking the source who the releases fall on, they noted that "Vince McMahon can personally put a stop to any of these," but the calls are a collaborative effort. The source confirmed that WWE releases are going to be a regular occurance moving forward, but says that they personally expect 2021 to be an outlier with both the frequency and the level of talent. They also stated to their recollection, "mass releases" hadn't been a real discussion or concern within WWE for nearly four years, between the Summer of 2016 and the start of 2020."
